Course Description:

This nationally recognised unit provides participants with the skills and knowledge to inspect, clean, and treat machinery, tools, and equipment to minimise the spread of pests, diseases, and weeds. It supports compliance with biosecurity protocols across agriculture, construction, mining, and land management industries.

Note: Activities may require bending, reaching, use of high-pressure cleaners, and working in confined or awkward spaces. Good mobility and physical stamina are needed.

Course Outcomes:

Refresher Training:

Refresher training is recommended every 3–5 years or when site biosecurity requirements or equipment use changes.
