Course Overview
This nationally recognised course equips elected Health and Safety
Representatives (HSRs) with the knowledge and practical skills required to effectively represent workers in health and safety matters.
Participants will gain a strong understanding of WHS legislation, risk management principles, consultation processes, and the powers of HSRs
under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld). The course includes training on issuing Provisional Improvement Notices (PINs) and
directing unsafe work to cease.
It is approved by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) and is mandatory for all newly elected HSRs in Queensland.
