Course Description: |
This nationally recognised course provides the skills and knowledge required to respond to a wide range of emergencies and deliver advanced first aid until medical or advanced assistance arrives. It includes CPR, defibrillation, casualty assessment, and the management of complex situations such as major trauma, multiple casualties, and environmental conditions. |

Theory: Written or verbal assessment covering advanced emergency response procedures, legislation, and reporting requirements Practical (including physical requirements): Participants will demonstrate CPR, AED use, and management of complex first aid scenarios, including multiple casualties. Note: This course includes kneeling, lifting, rolling casualties, and maintaining compressions. A moderate level of physical fitness and mobility is required. |
