Course Description: |
This nationally recognised course provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to respond to cardiac emergencies and perform CPR in accordance with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. It is suitable for both workplace and general community settings. |

Assessment: |
Theory: Multiple-choice or short-answer questions on CPR procedures and emergency response Practical (including physical requirements): Participants must demonstrate CPR on an adult and infant manikin in a simulated environment. Note: CPR requires kneeling on the floor for several minutes, applying chest compressions, and using an AED trainer. Participants must have sufficient physical ability to complete these tasks. |

Refresher Training: |
CPR certification must be refreshed every 12 months in accordance with ARC and Safe Work Australia recommendations. |
