This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to provide lash and brow services that include shaping and colouring.

It requires the ability to consult with clients, and select suitable products and equipment required to perform lash and brow services. Lash and brow services can be an individual treatment or form part of a series of treatments.

This unit applies to beauticians and beauty therapists who work in beauty salons and spas. In this environment they make routine decisions within a defined range guided by manufacturer information and organisational policies and procedures.

Course Details	This course will cover the following topics: Benefits of eyebrow grooming Hygienic practices of the therapist Contraindications Theory and practice of eye grooming techniques A full brow treatment sequence Theoretical introduction to complimentary eye treatments
Entry Requirements	To enrol in this course, the following requirements must be met: 16 years + (parental consent required if under 18). Year 12 or equivalent Mature age students RPL if able to demonstrate relevant skills and knowledge.
Dress code	Whilst in the salon, the following dress code applies: Black long pants Black enclosed soft sole shoes Shirt (this is supplied in training kit) Hair up, neat and tidy Minimal jewellery No mobile phones Arrive 10 minutes before practical session is due to start Models for student services are to wait in the front of the Salon
