CPP20212 Certificate II in Security Operations

Anyone wishing to work a security officer in Queensland must undertake this course as a minimum requirement. If you are interstate, contact the office.

Our Certificate II in Security Operations covers everything you will be required to know in order to apply for your Security Officer (Unarmed) Licence. This licence allows you to undertake work in:

  • shopping centres
  • retail loss prevention
  • power stations
  • corporate security
  • building sites
  • industrial sites
  • patrols.

Entry Requirements

  • Be 18 years old 
  • Not pose a risk to public safety
  • Have no criminal convictions in the last 10 years
  • Mature age students
  • RPL if able to demonstrate relevant skills and knowledge.
  • Access to a computer with word processing, PDF reader capabilities and an internet connection
  • A good command of written English
  • Ability to allocate appropriate study hours per week

Pathways

Students who successfully complete the course will receive the nationally recognised qualification for CPP20212 Certificate II in Security Operations. This Qualification is from the latest version of the CPP Property Services Training Package and is the most up-to-date qualification in security. 

Graduates are eligible for enrolment in the CPP20212 Certificate II in Security Operations qualification and will be eligible for direct credit for units completed from this course.
