All State's Training's Low voltage rescue & CPR training is a nationally accredited training program. This training is suitable for those who work on or near live low voltage mains and apparatus and who may be required to undertake rescue operations in the event of a workplace incident on such low voltage equipment.
Upon satisfactory completion of this course in low voltage rescue training, participants will be issued with a statement of attainment, recognised within the Australian Qualifications Framework and issued under authority of the National Vocational Education and Regulator Act 2011, for competency:

This training program covers the performance of low voltage rescue procedures as an emergency procedure required in the work place. It specifies the mandatory requirements of rescue from a live LV panel and how they can be applied in the workplace. Low voltage rescue & CPR training is conducted by an experienced height safety specialist and encompasses responsibilities for rescue, health, safety and risk management processes at all operative levels and adherence to safety practices as part of the normal way of doing work.
Skills and knowledge will be refreshed and assessed in relation to performing low voltage rescue & CPR procedures in the workplace and will cover the following:
While practical exercises will be conducted in a simulated environment, participants' knowledge and skills relating to Safe Approach Distances and how to maintain Safe Approach Distances appropriate to a tower rescue will also be assessed.
Students are encouraged throughout the Low Voltage & CPR training to develop, participate and apply skills in the safe management of performing low voltage rescue. Participants will perform a simulated low voltage rescue before performing CPR.
This course is suitable for persons working in any industry including mining, construction, utilities, oil and gas, defence and government.
Current industry standards state refresher training for low voltage rescue and CPR must be conducted once every 12 months.
