There are no specific requirements for entry but Candidates must have a Construction Induction Card (White Card), as they will be working on worksites or roadwork's, this is a Workplace Health and Safety Qld requirement. A minimum level of numeracy, literacy and communication skills are preferred for this course as participant will be working on a construction site with live traffic.
This course provides the participants with the skills and competencies to:
Participant's competencies will be assessed through completion of both a theory and practical assessment. The theory examination will occur on the day of the theory course. This theory examination consists of the approved TMR assessment as required for the course.
The practical assessment will require the student to complete a minimum of three (3) implementations of traffic management plans on live job sites to complete the training.
Upon successful completion of the theory component of the course, a Statement of Attendance will be issued for Traffic Management Implementation.
Upon successful completion of the practical assessment course participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for RIIWHS302D Implement Traffic Management Plan.
Please Note: This course does not qualify participants to control traffic with a Stop/Slow bat.
There is no RPL/Credit Transfer available for this course. This is a TMR requirement.
