If you have ever wondered why???
Why the below is noted on your First Aid Certificate...
These competencies form part of
RII30815 Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations
The reason being all Registered Training Organisations have a scope of registration, and it depends on where the specific unit sits meaning what qualification the RTO has on scope. So for example our RTO has Civil Construction Plant Operations on scope and first aid is a unit within the qualification. This first aid unit is no different to any other first aid unit, it is exactly the same. If you are concerned you can go to training.gov.au website and take a look at the unit and what qualifications it sits under.
When receiving your Statement of Attainment the focus should be on the unit of competency rather than the qualification it is attached to.
