The duration will vary depending on your background and experience. There is a logbook that must be completed with on-the-job training, they have tasks listed in the front of the logbook that must be completed a certain number of times each, the amount of times will vary depending on your level of experience. Assessment cannot be conducted until these tasks have been completed and the assessment may take from 4 to 8 hours to complete.

Rigid dump trucks specifically engineered for use in high-production mining and heavy-duty construction environments. They are purpose built trucks that are able to go over rough terrain to get the job done. The vehicle usually has all-wheel drive and consists of two basic units: the front section, generally called the tractor, and the rear section that contains the dump body, called the hauler or trailer section.
It is important to follow all appropriate procedures and guidelines when operating a Rigid Haul Truck. This will ensure the Haul truck is operated within applicable guidelines and that work is conducted in a safe manner.
