The Civil Construction program provides existing building and construction workers with training that focuses on the safety requirements of the industry and the associated requirements of licensing and regulatory authorities, such as Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, Queensland Building Services Authority and National Occupational Licensing. For workers, obtaining a range of relevant skills can help them to increase employment opportunities by being able to perform a range of jobs and respond to emerging skills and labour shortages.
